" I am sorry if I see things differently"

I happened to watch this day's episode of Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman before I actually started my research work on Machine Tool Operations. The episode is entitled Twas the Night Before Mxymas.
It was Christmas and Lois was so busy of the Christmas chores, buying gifts, preparing dinners etc.But Clark wanted Lois to see the magic of Christmas around them. On the otherhand a creature from the fifth dimension appeared and distorted time by repeating the Christmas Day eve and taking away hope from them. The creature, Mr. Mxyzptlk knew that by taking away hope from the people he will be able to rule them as it is a means to take power. As the day repeats itself, people gets frustrated and the "magic" of Christmas was deteriorating. But Clark being invulnerable was able to see the day repeating. Yet he was forced to do all the saving stuffs again and again while trying to bring back hope to people.
By the "wave" of hope that transcends from Superman, Lois Lane was able to realize what's going on. So they did a plan in order for the spell to break out. By research, they were able to know that the key to break the spell is by letting Mr. Mxyzptlk to repeat his name backwards. To make the whole story short, Superman again saves the day.
So what's my point? I will not be talking about the heroic abilities of Superman but more than that --- HOPE. The truth is what happened to Metropolis at that episode is true for our world today. We do not need eyes that can see through walls in order to realize that. In this world there are so many reasons for our hope to deteriorate. So many "Mr. Mxyzptlk" I would say. Corruption, greed, war, many people dying because of starvation, deaths, innocent prisoners, diseases, abuse etc.. this world is so hopeless if we look at it that view. If we try to look at the eyes of every people we get to see on streets we will be able to discover the "hallow" in their hearts, the lack of happiness, worry... so many things for us to lose hope.
That is the main reason why we need to reach out more and more. To bring the news that this world still have hope. To impart the hope that we received from Jesus Christ. We don't need to be like Superman just to bring hope to the hopeless. We actually have more than Superman, Jesus Christ.This world badly needs Jesus Christ. This world needs to know that yes, we shall face troubles but Jesus himself have overcome them all... even death. And Jesus is a hundred percent man like us. That means we can overcome the world the same way Jesus did.
We do not need to do great things just to bring hope. We do not need to die on the cross (literally) just for the world to know that yes there is hope!. For the hope is already present through Jesus Christ! And all we just need to do is to let people know it. No matter how small the things that we do let us always remember that it can bring a spark of hope.
But for us to actually be able to bring hope, we must first be able to see that there is lack of hope in this world. Try to get out of our comfort circles and we will be able to see that. And when the time comes that we see that lack, are we prepared to bring the news of hope by sharing the Gospel? I hope it is a big YES!.
Let me say it again, in every thing that we do, let us make sure that it is something that it encouraging and in it transcends the hope that we had from Jesus Christ. Each small things that we do can actually bring large impact! Now, it is up to us wether we resort to things that brings hope or makes someone stumble. I am sure that you do not want other people to stumble because of your works so please be an ambassador of hope to people.
